Welcome to our chapter website!

President's Message

Welcome to the West Coast Florida Chapter. I am very excited and honored to be the chapter president for 2019. We have a lot of great events in-store for this year. In my short time here in Florida, I have had the opportunity to meet so many great people in our local chapter. When I moved to Florida from the NY Metro area, ICRI was the first organization I wanted to join and get involved. For many years prior, I was involved in the New York Metro chapter and witnessed the importance of being involved in such a great organization. My relationships with members in this organization span over 20 years on a local and regional level. The knowledge and friendships I have gained from being involved are irreplaceable. So, please stop by at our next meeting and get involved. Our chapter will be even better with your involvement. Come see what you are missing:

Our current and past board members, along with our membership have created an environment of learning, educating and networking in the industry that has made this chapter outstanding year after year. Our chapter is a blend of design professionals, contractors, distributors and manufacturers that meet once a month to share their knowledge.

The West Coast Florida Chapter is growing every year with new members, new ideas, that help bring in new opportunities to educate us in our ever-changing industry. 2018 was a great year with new concepts and event locations. We had two technical presentations in two local breweries. Our first Annual Cigar and Whisky networking social at a local Marina. Followed by a successful Demo Day at the University of South Florida. Demo Day, focused on concrete repair educating members as well as USF students. We had over 100 attendees for that event. The event also allowed us to donate $4,000.00 to the USF Engineering department’s concrete lab. Our chapter continues to donate, but for our next event,  it was true volunteerism of time. We came together to help our local community and paint the interior of a local boys club currently being rehabilitated. Thank you to all those who came to paint! We finished the year off with a sporting clay event, and a Christmas Happy Hour Networking Social. 2018 was truly a great year!

I would like to thank the current and past boards for all their involvement in our chapter. Without their dedication and volunteering their precious time, our chapter would not be where it is today. I also want to bring to everyone’s attention, to thank the many long-term members, new members and yearlong sponsors that continue to support this successful chapter. We continue to look forward to your involvement in 2019.

In closing, I ask that if you are interested in getting involved, give me a call or come to one of our events. You will not be disappointed and you will have the opportunity to meet some great people in our local industry.

Thank you and see you soon!
